Judge Learned Hand - Jerry Talbot Owings

This is an absolutely brilliant example of my Fathers work. I look at this as the quintessential Jerry Owings illustration.

The incredible detail coupled with the perfectly captured emotion makes this drawing an example of an artist who has mastered his craft.

This and the following two drawings are my Dad's work and as humbling as it is, I wanted to put them on my site.

There is no comparision in terms of pure talent. Hands down my Father is the greatest artist I have ever met. I have learned a few things from him along the way, but have no doubts about the difference in skill when it comes to drawing, he is simply the best.
