| Trees in Colored Pencil |
I am fascinated by trees. They have such great detail, much of it difficult to capture. This was just a practice drawing I did to try out some shading. It didn't work out nearly as well as I'd hoped it would. If you look at the edges of the trees you can tell where it obviously went wrong.
Not to be deterred by utter failure, I press on knowing that one day I'll get it right, if I keep trying. Yes, I do sign my bad drawings. It's a reminder to me that even practice has value.
