This is a barn I painted. I painted this from a photograph I took during a trip I took to Canada. I can't remember if the picture was taken in Michigan or if was taken in Sudbury, Canada. Either way, I thought it was a cool barn.
With this painting I got plenty of good instruction from artist and painter Richard Abraham. He suggested the violet sky and helped me quite a bit with the shadows. I can take full credit for the distant pine tree though. I thought it turned out well.
Just a few more touch ups on this painting and it'll be complete.
