Pencil & Ink |
Sketch of some buildings which was inspired by architectural renderings taken from Pencil Points magazine, published in June 1934. I've always liked the lines and contours of art deco design and this large, imposing building yields those features.
I began this sketch with a thumbnail, followed by a pencil outline. Once the pencil work was completed, I went over everything with an ink pen. I like the way it came out and especially the perspectives and shadows.

Very nice, you should do the skyline of Chicago, I think that is 1 of the best skylines witn lake Michagan as a background. Give me a holler if you and Susan come to Chi-town.
