I've posted a lot of reviews about different types of pencils over the years and when I can I've been throwing up video reviews on You Tube channel. Today I posted a review of the Caran d'Ache Museum Aquarelle colored pencil.

The photo shows some of the tests I do including using a variety of the colors to create a drawing, in this case apples. I used eight colors in this drawing and noted my experiences as I went along. Later on I can look back on this for reference.

Whenever I'm asked I offer the advice that fellow artists test out the materials they plan to use, before using them. Keeping some notes on the characteristics and performance of the materials you use. It's also a lot of fun to look back on the notes later or to use them as a reference.
