| Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencil on 100% cotton 185lb paper |
Almost half way home in the pin-up project, eleven more to go. The buttery smooth Polychromos pencils I'm using are really outstanding. Having the right tools is helpful and I noticed a significant difference between these pencils and lesser brands.
The paper I'm using for the project isn't bad either, it's 185lb hot pressed Italian cotton,. It holds color well and make drawing seem almost effortless.
This pistol packin Betty took me about 1.5 hours to draw and harkens back to the height of the western in the 50's.
