Small Watercolor Paintings

November 27, 2011

I used some of the Strathmore Bristol paper (2.5" X 3.5") 100lb trading cards to do these little watercolor paintings. I decided it would be fun just to do some experimentation on these little cards. It's somewhat challenging to paint on such a small area, but it's also really fun.

For these paintings I used a combination of Faber-Castell watercolor pencils and Holbien watercolor paints. The perspectives aren't perfect as these were all done freehand (no rulers) in about 10 minutes.
